You apply

Ten minutes on the application form. Brand story, traction, unit economics, production capacity, and why you believe you're ready for China. We review every application personally.

Selection

We take on two Tier 1 creatives per year. Longlist in Q1, shortlist and product diligence in Q2, final selection by end of Q3. Samples requested during shortlist.

Purchase Order

For the two selected brands, we issue a formal purchase order: quantity, price, terms, exclusivity scope for mainland China, and lead times. We take title to the inventory outright.

Placement

Product ships to our bonded China hub. We handle import, CIQ, Chinese-language packaging, and then walk into 400 buyer offices with your product in hand. You get paid on the PO.

Common questions.

Why only two creatives per year?+

Our 400 buyer relationships are personal. Each new product we introduce trades against 18 years of reputation. Two is the number of new brands we can champion inside those rooms with real conviction each year.

Do you charge application, listing, or slotting fees?+

No. Applications are free. If selected, we buy your inventory outright, no consignment, no slotting fees, no service retainers. Our margin comes from distribution, not from you.

Do you require exclusivity in China?+

Yes. Selected brands grant AOG exclusive distribution rights for mainland China for the term. Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and the rest of the world remain yours.

What does 'Tier 1 creative' actually mean?+

Founders whose product is unmistakably category-defining in their home market, award-winning design, defensible IP, marquee retail placement, or genuine cult status. Not a stage of funding, a level of craft.

What are typical order sizes?+

First-year POs for a selected brand generally run multiple 40-foot containers, phased across channels and quarters as we build sell-through across the network.

How long from selection to Chinese shelves?+

For 2027 cohort brands, selection closes in Q3 2026, first POs cut in Q4 2026, and product lands in the network from Q1 2027 through Q2 2027.
